Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a cancer that affects the lining of the lung (called the pleura) and the abdomen (called peritoneum). Occasionally, rare cases of mesothelioma can occur in other areas of the body as well. Like most cancers, mesothelioma treatment is most effective when it is diagnosed early.
