Phase I Study of Decitabine and FR901228 in Patients With Unresectable Pulmonary, Esophageal, or Pleural Malignancies
- Purpose:
- Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of combination chemotherapy in treating patients who have advanced lung cancer or esophageal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery.
- Eligibility:
- At least 18 years old.
- At least 1 month since biological therapy, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy to treat cancer.
Phase I Study of Decitabine-Mediated Induction of Tumor Antigen and Tumor Suppressor Gene Expression in Patients With Unresectable Lung or Esophageal Cancer or Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma
- Purpose:
- Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of decitabine in treating patients who have unresectable lung or esophageal cancer or malignant mesothelioma of the pleura.
- Eligibility:
- At least 18 years old.
- At least 30 days since biological therapy, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy.
- No previous decitabine.
Phase I Study of Erlotinib in Patients With Solid Tumors and Hepatic or Renal Dysfunction
- Purpose:
- Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of erlotinib in treating patients who have metastatic or unresectable solid tumors and liver or kidney dysfunction.
- Eligibility:
- At least 18 years old.
- At least 4 weeks since chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or surgery.
Phase I Study of Intraperitoneal PV701 in Patients With Advanced or Recurrent Malignancy Largely Confined to the Peritoneal Cavity
- Purpose:
- Phase I trial to study the effectiveness of PV701 in treating patients who have advanced or recurrent ovarian epithelial, fallopian tube, primary peritoneal, colorectal, or other cancer found primarily within the peritoneal cavity.
- Eligibility:
- At least 18 years old.
- No CNS metastases or adrenal gland metastases.
- No more than three previous chemotherapy regimens.
- More than 1 month since chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
- More than 2 weeks since systemic steroid therapy.
- No previous organ transplantation.
